In 2008-2009, state and regional conferences offered over 110 workshops and policy seminars throughout Tennessee. Workshops in recent years covered topics as varied as Advocacy 101, Mentoring Now for the Future, EITC Access, Enhancing the Economy of Poor Rural Communities, Achieving Educational Excellence in Tennessee, Community-Based Change Strategies, Pre-K in Tennessee, Systems of Care for Children's Mental Health, Changing the Landscape for Home and Community Based Services, Restorative Justice, and many other topics highlighting basic strategies for long-term change.
